WHEELS - REVERSE DISTANCE SENSOR
The Reverse Distance Sensor (RDS) consists of two distance detectors and a compact IC-based electronic control monitor. During operation, ultrasonic signals are generated by the monitoring unit's indicator which is automatically controlled by a computer chip. The pre-programmed function compares the signal-to-object distances between the ultrasonic source and the detectors. Exact distances are displayed in metres or feet by: An audio alarm signaling rapid pulses as the vehicle-to-object distance changes. Pulse intervals increase as an object gets closer to the vehicle.
The RDS provides the driver with three alarm modes based on the distance of objects at the rear of the vehicle. (Refer Chart)
The driver will appreciate the RDS assistance of informing him/her for both visible or non visible object at the back of the vehicle. This convenient safety device will assist the driver in some of the most difficult driving situations such as getting into a narrow car park at the busy shopping centre, parallel parking and negotiating in congested traffic.
The RDS is the result of many years of research & development and has been desgined using advaned electronic engineering with the ability to function, remaining its sensitivity & acuraccy in any environment, including heavy rain fall, heat as well as withstanding any endurance without affecting its normal operation.
EASYPARK - PARKING DISTANCE CONTROL SYSTEM
The EasyPark parking distance control system is a monitoring system fitted on the rear bumper of a motor vehicle
to aid the driver during reverse parking. They come in three different sizes (18mm, 22mm, or 25mm drill hole sizes)
with a 2 or 4 sensor configuration. The 25mm has a rubber casing suitable for use with trucks.
The EasyPark works on an ultrasonic basis checking the distance behind the vehicle during reverse parking,
and warns the driver acoustically against obstacles. This sensor is designed to blend into most vehicles
in order to provide assistance and relieve the driver of the special caution required during reverse parking.
There are three zones to indicate how far you are from an obstacle:
- Zone 3: Obstacle between 2.5 Ft to 5 Ft - 2 beeps per second
- Zone 2: Obstacle between 1 Ft to 2.5 Ft - 6 beeps per second
- Zone 1: Obstacle between 0.1 Ft to 1 Ft - Continuous beeping
Various colours are available on request.
Optional LED Display Unit.
